This has become my favorite rifle/pistol. I’m loaded up with 9mm glock mags so I can switch between my Glock and my FX-9. Added a Sig Romeo 5 Red dot and it makes the perfect compact home defense weapon! Runs great and is cool. Great value gun!

I have been wanting an AR15 Pistol or Carbine in 9mm. Rural King has these at a good price. I was surprised at how good the fit and finish was and by the MidWest Industries m-lock freefloat hand guard. It came with one 33rd SGM mag. I took it to the range and it feed a variety of round flawlessly from the supplied magazine and the Korean 33rd Glock mags I already had. The Pistol grouped real well. Definitely happy with my Freedom Ordinance FX-9 Pistol

First the bad. F.O. has changed the hand guard that comes with the FX9. It no longer has a full picantinney rail on the bottom. I wanted to mount an angled fore grip so I purchased a magpul rail to mount to the bottom of the hand guard. This couldn’t be mounted because of the close clearance of the T nuts on the inside of the rail and the fake suppressor. I had to remove the can and purchase a flash hider for the end of the barrel. F.O. changing their gun is one thing, but Rural King needs to change the picture on their website, if F.O. is no longer shipping that version.
Now the Good! The gun came with a clear ETS 33 round magazine. Both the gun and the mag worked flawlessly through 150 rounds of American Eagle 115gr. ammunition. Great price, good runner so far, and a lot of fun. Only gave 3 stars on value because of the extra purchases I had to make in order to mount the fore grip I wanted.

The gun is fun to shoot and just about everything I expected. My only complaint is the it didn’t come with the lower rack to add a handle to. It is advertised in the photos but it did not come with it. It still had the rack on top to mount my sight but I really wanted to add a handle, which I cannot do without modifying.

First I would like to address the comment regarding the handrail. They did change the hand guard and went with an Mlok system. I purchased the Magpul foregrip for Mlok for 25$ and it mounted very easily. Went with a Sig Romeo5 2MOA Red Dot and I love the setup! My only negative would be the supplied clear magazine. It worked but it seems cheaply made. Im running magpul mags with great performance. Using thr recommended 115g ammo I have not had one single issue. If you want a mean little PCC for home defense or just having fun on the range then look no further! Very happy with my purchase. If I could change one thing on the gun it would be making the charging handle a bit larger but it works fine the way it is. The time to buy is now!

I’ve had this for about 2 months now and it is an absolute BLAST not one issue at all it feeds any target ammo i throw in it, haven’t ran any hollow points or or defensive ammunition, she is definitely a keeper!

Watched lots of tests on youtube before buying. It is a shooter, fed it several brands and weights of ammo with no stoppages. Will know more after i accuracy test it. I will eventually change the brace to one that adjusts easier.

Just picked up my new fx 9.. Straight out of box. Gun was damaged from MFG. End of barrel is scratched and has surface rust on gun. Cheap 32 rd magazine. No bottom picatinny rail as advertising. Adjustable stcok has to be loosend with allen wrench. That’s not provided. Guess. This straight out of the box. Just turned into a build. Want by another one. Save your money. And buy the sigsaur

After spending about 2 years looking at different ar pistol set ups in 9mm, this was the gun I went with. Many reviews have been done on youtube about them and that’s what helped sell me on it. Another factor was that they are made in my state, which for any type of problems I might encounter, sending it to the manufacturer wouldn’t be a logistical nightmare. Some would consider this a budget gun, and it may be considering the price point. However, it a PERFECT budget gun. The quality is on par with other higher end guns I’ve had, it shoots flawlessy after putting over 100 rounds of different brand ammo through it. It’s stupid accurate right out of the box and if you can put a decent quality red dot on it, will make it that much better. If your on the fence about this firearm, don’t be. You will not be dissapointed. Support this manufacturer that is offering a high end quality pistol, for a budget price.

Amazing gun no problems DONT SHOOT steel casing ammunition out of it i tried it never again. Let it get dirty from firing and not cleaning it started malfunctioning after about 450 to 500 rounds through it highly reliable with any ammunition fired almost every brand out to test it and all fired flawlessly steel casings jammed like crazy it gave me a few scares for my safety using steel casings i would advise listen to the manual and dont use steel casings i was curious how they would do dont do what i did and let curiousity get the better of you but over all i would buy this gun again without a second thought i love it

I can’t express how much I like this gun. What you get for the price is amazing. Quality is top notch. Took it to the range straight from the box and shot 200 flawless rounds. With my Sig Romeo 5 also straight from box on it this thing was 100% accurate. No adjustments needed. If you want an AR9 this is the one to get.
Love it! –
This is a very fun gun to shoot for the whole family. No pick rail on bottom of barrel to attach a handle or fore grip but that is all. Mounted my site on top and bought several extra Glock magazines to go with it. We’ve had no trouble with it at all. Actually thinking about buying another one. I went to the Freedom Ordinance web site and watched a video of the belt fed model and drooled! Shot about 400 rounds through it using different brands of ammo without issue.

Ive owned mine for about a year now have run Steel case ammo through it and Brass .. its eats it like nothing. No jam. I also have the so called clear mags (joke ) I purchased some others from different vendors (solid black ) basically a Glock Clone. I highly recommend staying away from the clear ones. My Fx has a weapons light,along with a very nice Red Dot and single point sling (also recommend ) 5 stars on the FX ,now try and find one . lol

Fun little gun and modestly priced compared to others selling the same thing. Fit and finish is good. Magazine wobbles a little but holds. Add a better arm brace to make this more comfortable to shoot. Overall doesn’t disappoint.

I bought the 4” barrel (when they had them) and this little mighty gun chewed through the various ammo Target FMJ / Hollow Points /115grain-147grain right out of the box. Fits most backpacks / takes all glock magazines so compliments your 9mm edc setup if you ever needed a small arsenal. Get the 4” if you can find any!
