This is by far may favorite 22 to shoot out of the 5 that I own. Superb quality, form, fit, function is outstanding. Balance is wonderful and it is just a pleasure to shoot. Both of my daughters (10) and (15) year old love to shoot their Henry’s. Great firearm and wonderful to shoot. You cannot go wrong with a Henry and “Made in America or not made at all” means a lot!!!!

For the money and made in America, you can not go wrong with the H001. Nice balance, not over heavy to carry and aim. I like the hooded site in front as light is shaded from the site. My first time out with the rifle I was able to nail the center target with in the first three shots at 50 yards and 90 yards. After that pretty much right on target. Did not have to move the sites. The barrel is just over an inch shorter that the H004 Golden Boy, but for small game hunting I have not seen where that was any issue at all, In fact I can see the sights better with the H001 than I did with the h004. Gun has yet to jam even with over 600 rounds shot through it this weekend. Exceptional Gun.

I love my H001 I purchased it to complete my .22mag and .17HMR. Well built accurate easy to use all around fun rifle my nephews learning to shoot and its perfect for him. I will always stick by my Henrys and will definitely buy more in the future.

Very nice gun. But the trouble I have is you can not move in rear sight left or right.It shots about 2 1/2″ to the right.Going to put a scope on it. really did not went to do that.

I am writing this review because I noticed that the first reviewer says that you can not adjust the rear sight. That is wrong. All you have to do is tap it gently where it slides into the receiver. Very gently because it doesn’t take much. This is a very fine rifle. I also have the Golden Boy. Great rifles.Thank You

rear sight is in a dovetail……it is adjustable…simple,,,,,,,just have to know what your doing

You cannot beat this Henry if you are looking for a beautiful finish, highly accurate and Made in America rifle. It is just a 22 but a lot of fun to shoot. It looks like the western rifles of the movies and handles perfectly. I was a little reluctant to buy any 22 but this Henry has always caught my attention and it quickly reassured me that it was a great purchase. I do not think you will be disappointed. It is a great little rifle and I look forward to many years of easy shooting.

I’ve had my Henry 22 for a couple of years, Over 1,000 rounds have gone through the gun. I’ve used it to shoot rabbits, it’s my go to varmint gun – very accurate. My chickens love it, it keeps them safe from possums and raccoons. The gun is a great little blinker. With subsonic ammo it makes about as much noise as a pellet gun. My neighbors appreciate it as well.

This rifle has very good balance and is heavy enough to maintain a steady hold. I shot a few hundred rounds and there were not any problems. It is very accurate and easy to maintain good bench and offhand shooting. It is a well made rifle. It is a good rifle at a good price.

I Love my Henry!!! Smooth transition between lever loads…awesome on point sight. A great addition to the family. Makes me feel like a CowGirl every time I hold it! I wanna pass this one down to my grandchildren! A fine piece of wood and quality steel.

Just a perfect .22 rifle top to bottom. Light and extremely accurate. The action is slick and positive and locks up tight. The best .22 rifle on the market for less than $400.00. I’m looking forward to getting the .22 magnum version in the near future. Great job Henry. Keep up the good work.
