Dollar for dollar it is by far the best rifle I have ever purchased. I have only shot 16 rounds from 30 yards. I had a grouping far smaller than my best Ruger 10/22. This rifle will fit in any bug out bag. If nothing else I will be guaranteed to eat, rabbit, squirrel ect.

I bought this Henry to carry on my tractor around my property for Varmit control.It goes together quickly and shoots well. It’s a neat rifle that works well.

The Henry AR-7 is a fine execution from the original Stoner survival rifle. Henry makes very quality firearms and this hold true for this model as well. Assembly is a breeze, from storage to shooting can be accomplished in a matter of minutes. Very happy with this gun, it will accompany me on many camping trips.

This little gun is unbelievable. When you show the box to people they wonder where is the rest of it. It weighs nearly nothing and yet is typical of the quality that we have come to expect from Henry. The first two shots out of the box were in the bullseye at 50 yards. It did not jam or malfunction in any way and I purposely used ammo that I know plays havoc with my Ruger pistol. Easy to assemble, take back down, and to remove the bolt for a thorough cleaning. Of course, dealing with Rural King was quick and effortless.

Light, handy, reliable, just plain useful. Nice little fun gun that serves its purpose. Compact stowage takes up very little room, and easy, fast assembly. This ain’t your fancy walnut, ultra-high finish trophy rifle; it’s an everyday tool that will be there when needed. I bought the black finish, will probably get the camo version too. RK makes online purchasing easy, and the online 4473 process is a bit lengthy but the saving$ are well worth while. Have made numerous purchased through RK Guns and just can’t be beat. Yeah delivery might take a wee bit of time but good things come to him that waits! This little AR-7 is a must-have for serious collectors and shooters. I made a custom skeleton stock from aluminum rod and it make the little AR even more totable. Made In Usa a big bonus also!

This rifle is a perfect reproduction of the original Colt design, but with many improvements and the use of composites that weren’t available during its original production. It lightweight, very compact and assembles perfectly with tight tolerances throughout its design. It fires flawlessly and required no compensation during targeting right out of the box. If you’re looking for a great, small caliber carry-anywhere rifle – or just something to plunk with, this is the weapon you want.

This is a great value for an AR-7. I’ve been want one of these for a while to take to the cabin and Plink! Even better it’s now being made by Henry.

Fun to shoot easy assembly and take down No tools needed to take upper apart for cleaning. This gun is a hoot to shoot. Hollow points first round doesn’t always feed round bullets feed fine.

This is one of the funnest weapons l have. It far exceeds its expectations. The sight is one of the most accurate of all my 22’s. Its a blast to shoot and the quality is what you would expect from a henry. Well worth the money. People laugh at it at the range until l show them how accurate and fun it is. Some have even left the range and went straight to the store to purchase there own. After handling a high range of different weapons, this has to be in my top 5 all time favorites.

. Hancock says it’s a great weapon, and I agree. I have looked at purchasing one for years,,,, but I did not hear good things about them when a !!!!!!!!! maker was manufacturing them. But now we have them back. Just a grand designed semi auto 22lr.

In our family, we always start teaching firearms safety and awareness young. (We figure the kids and grandkids are going to grow up around firearms, anyway, and simply restricting the guns’ access only serves to create an unhealthy “glamour” about them.) The Henry AR7 is our teaching tool of choice. The grandkids, now, especially seem to like the “fold-up-take-down-commando” air about the rifle. We adults like the fact that the kids are learning on one of the most basic of firearms, thus getting them ready for the day when they can handle an AR-15 or Garand. Like most reviews above, we love the fact that Henry is making these things again. Couldn’t ask for better.

I was told to sign the sheet indicating what I’d be getting, but we never opened any of the boxes to double check what was inside. The Henry while nice, appears to be missing a magazine and the nut for the round plug. Oh well learn and I forgot my rule of trust but verify.

Fun gun. Easy to order. Decent price. Easy to assemble and load. Sighting is very accurate. Little recoil. Easy to clean. Magazine is only 8 Rd but needs to be flush for storage. Would recommend for what it is.

The rifle is great

I picked up my AR7 just a year or so after Henry took over the redesign and Manufacturing. It has spent more time with me as a Woods gun than anything else I own. I trust it implicitly. It is accurate, easy to carry, and generally effective when needed in the woods.

I saw this online and researched the reviews, etc. Took delivery today and hope to shoot it this weekend.

Fun little rifle to shoot. Like the way it stows away in stock.
