This is my first NIB Springfield M1A rifle. The wood and metal are perfect. It arrived well packed in a Springfield Tacticle rifle gun case which is a great carrier with ammo and clip pockets. Shoots a quarter size hole at 50 yds with 147 grain BT ammo. With the lighter recoil, I’m hoping it’ll shoot as well as my DCM M1.

I am very pleased with my rifle. It is very well manufactured the wood and metal surfaces are very well finished and the metal to wood fit couldn’t be better. I have wanted this rifle for 30 years, they are a lot easier to find now. Considering what the price was in 1985 they are an excellent valve now.

As always you can’t beat RK guns prices. As I was picking up this gun at my local Rural King a man approached me and asked if it was a Springfield M1A and what the price was. After telling him the price he said he had been looking at used ones at gun shows and they wanted almost as much for them. I have not had the opportunity to fire it yet but I’m impressed with the workmanship and after reading many reviews on RK guns and elsewhere I don’t expect there will be any problems. I have never seen a bad review of the M1A Springfield.
